BioBrain Meltdown is an indie comic created by two young Italian artists. It tells the story of Hugo Shephard, a Gulf War veteran who loses two limbs. He then receives two extremely durable biomechanical prosthetics from a mysterious man, who forces him to complete tasks in order to gather the 'Smirnovium', a powerful chemical element desired by all and necessary for the biomechanical limbs to work.

Our hero, Hugo, will be accompanied by his caring ex-wife, Madison Rose.
Despite being unaware of the insane and sick affairs Hugo is involved in, she will try to personally investigate his mental health and what he is constantly forced to do.
The whole story is illustrated with a blend of beat 'em up and psychological thriller, all set in a small American urban neighbourhood that is constantly the scene of dangerous encounters and hallucinations.
